IDOT’s Office of Small Business Services published two Request for Proposals (RFPs) on July 16, 2009 that seek qualified vendors with experience in Illinois’ transportation-related construction industry who can provide management assistance (the RFP covers Districts 4 - 9) and technical assistance (the RFP covers Districts 1 - 9) to its Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).

If you are interested in submitting a proposal, the RFPs will be posted on the Illinois Department of Central Management Services’ Illinois Procurement Bulletin (IPB), http://www.purchase.state.il.us, for a minimum of 14 days.

The Department is holding a Vendor’s Conference on July 27, 2009 from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. during the IPB posting period to explain the process for submitting a proposal, the technical requirements of the proposed contract, and to answer any questions raised by vendors
