The 2008 Illinois Department of Transportation's Annual Fall Planning Conference will be held October 2-3 at the Stoney Creek Inn & Conference Center in Moline, IL. Those encouraged to attend include the Metropolitan Planning Organizations, Transportation Planners, and consultants who are in the transportation field.
Topics for the conference will include Sunset of SAFETEA-LU, Disaster Relief Management, Freight and Transit Planning Issues, and Census 2010.
The keynote speakers will present to conference attendees the National Transportation Funding Outlook and the 2016 Chicago Olympic Bid.
