Roadway Mapping Section of Planning and Programming is your source for
mapping output. It has been in existence since 1936, the Graphics
section started around 1998. Several changes have been made in
this department that have gradually incorporated numerous improvements
and helped us prepare for future transitions in the world of mapping and
graphics.

| Travel Illinois Maps section
consists of maps used to find your way around Illinois in
the fastest, safest or most picturesque way you desire.
The maps are divided into Driving, Railroad and Bicycling
sections. |

| The Graphical Maps
section is the location for County, City, Township, 5-Year
Functional Classification and Illinois Department of
Tranportation Region and District Maps. |

| The Legislative Maps section
separates the state into various Legislative and Congressional
Districts. |

| The Statistical Maps section
shows various maps consisting of data collected on Illinois
roadways. |

| The Planning Maps section
shows the various maps of different programs produced by the
Illinois Department of Transportation for the future
transportation needs of the State of Illinois. |
